Cherokee Christian Schools, located in Woodstock, Ga., was founded in 1986 by the Cherokee Presbyterian Church. It is a nonprofit institution, and governed by a board of directors, school superintendent, principal and support staff. The institution is spread on an area of more than 33,000-square-feet, and provides Cherokee Christian Academy, a grade K-8 school. It also offers the Cherokee Christian High School, which offers educational and cocurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. Cherokee Christian Schools enrolls more than 300 students who represent over 90 churches from various denominations in Cherokee, Cobb, Fulton and Forsyth counties in Georgia.
