April Fools" in December !!!!

We purchased our new sofas on 11/27/09.... On 11/28/09, the Harlem Furniture Distribution Center (#630-783-8000) contacts us (AMAZING... the next day!!!) - so we thought. They called us to tell us they have our furniture available and they can deliver on Monday, 11/30/09. Unfortunately, we still had our other sofas and they said it was ok to reschedule for Saturday, Dec 5th, 2009 at any time. In the course of the week, we were able to sell our old Sofas. On Friday, December 4th we called to confirm approx what time they may be arriving the next day..... APRIL FOOLS !!!!!! They tell us they don't have our Sofas until 12/22/09 ........ HELLO!?!?!?!? We just got rid of our old sofas to make room for the new ones that were being delivered on 12/05/09!!! What do THEY say? “Sorry ma'm, but I can't make a delivery schedule because there is nothing in stock and our sofas are in back-order until the 22nd."... I asked, "Well then why did YOUR office call me to schedule a delivery, if there is nothing in stock?!" ...of course, all she could respond was the same thing (like a recorder). In addition, she said the Woodridge, IL location was the only distribution center nationwide and we would have to wait... (Didn’t matter I told her a family of 5 would be sitting on the floor for 3 weeks because THEY initiated the delivery call and fooled us).

LESSON HERE: If they say they have your furniture for an earlier date, even if it's the next day and you have a room full of sofas!!! TAKE IT!!!!!!! Even if your house looks like a storage room afterward!... Don't reschedule with them because they will give your furniture to someone else.
