Great product; bough their milled beetle kill pine T&G. Great straight boards, they knew when ready, delivered, and great price. would buy again.

Spent $600 on nice wood for our patio. The rep that loaded our truck then sold us some treatment for our wood (to protect it from water around base and under ground), said to apply the treatment on well above the ground height (8 inches to a foot). Said it would dry clear and provide protection. We could stain right over it. WRONG. Dried bright green. We waisted a lot of money on stain we already had (natural color) to buy darker stain. That stain will not even cover the wood. Will now have to sand all the wood down and still will have green lines in the cracks. Wanted to stain natural color but will now have to use dark stain. We have had to spend an addtional $100 for the extra stain.



Spoke with the owner of the company, he did not seem to care at all. Bring it back and they will trim the wood down even more?? That will still leave the green in the cracks and we still wont be able to use the color we want. We drove two hours one way to pick it up the wood in the first place. Not to mention all the extra money wasted on more and darker stain. Now we have $600 worth of wood that looks like crap and can not get it to the color we want.



Hope they heard my compliant as a learning lesson but from the way he handled the situation, I doubt it. Let this at least be a lesson to the rest of you, don't beleive the sales guy when he says you can stain right over the protective coating he will sell you..... BRIGHT GREEN.
