I have gone to Capelo's for a year now since I've lived in the area. After the blizzard we had this weekend, like many, my car broke down. I called AAA and they said it was a battery.



I went and purchased a battery for $140. I tried connecting the battery, but the nut was stripped. I dropped the car off to Capelo's and told them the bolt was stripped and that it was the battery. I asked them if they could inspect my car while it was in the garage. This was at 7:30 AM.



When I picked the car up at 5:30 PM he said he only charged me $50! I asked if he inspected the vehicle. He said he couldn't inspect it because the battery reset the computer on board and I needed to drive 50-75 miles first. What! The $50 was to "figure out" the battery was dead, which I had told them, hence the $140 battery.



Come to figure out through 4 dealings with them, they have a contract with Landon Chevy and only use OEM parts and services. They think they're a Chevy dealership. $50 and 30 minutes to figure out what I told them, knowing now I was being overcharged all along for 1 year.



Advice: Do not recommend!
