Ed App is not a man of his word nor did he complete the work outlined in our written agreement. I made a huge mistake - paying him in full before the job was complete after he said he would finish up the same day. A week later I still had downed trees in my yard killing my grass. He did send a crew to cut up the large trees but left the leaves and branches in several piles all over the yard. After another week went by, I called him daily to remind him about finishing. Each time I spoke to him he said he would be there that day or the next. After a week of calling, I hired someone else to pick up the piles. Do not hire this man!
He ruined 3 weeks of my life after I paid him almost $7000!

Ed and his team did a wonderful job at my house. They even trimmed a large tree for free. They were a lot cheaper than anyone else and did great! Highly recommend.

Did a great job removed large trees close to the house an did it in a timely manner. Ed and his crew were very efficient and polite. I would recommend them as they were knowledge about the job they did . The service and knowledge was key in getting the job done . Thank you

Actually the employees where assualted by the customers (72 year old man assualted a pregnant woman who taped the whole incident) because the customers didnt wanna pay after the work was all done! Both customers are racist calling the employees spics and to go back where they came from! App tree employees where the ones who where assualted, the whole incident was taped. The pregnant woman actually might be filing charges on the 73 years old racist who ASSUALTED her on tape. App tree employees worked hard and did everything they was asked and even dealt with the abuse of the customers! If the elderly man was assualted why didnt he press charges? He didnt press charges because he and his psycho weirdo wife both know the truth which they are the ones who assualted App tree employees and a pregnant woman who taped the whole thing!

They employ people who refuse to leave the customer's property, demand payment directly from the customer, then proceed to assault the customers (in this case a 72 year old man and 64 year old woman) when the customer explains that the payment goes directly to the owner upon completion of the job, as agreed upon by the customer and the company in this case.

Very fair price and the work they did was awesome. I had 5 tree removed. The guys came and were very professional. They worked very quickly and were done inside of 4 days. There was no pressuring by Ed. I actually pointed out an additional tree I wanted removed in the back corner of my property. Simply put, I had a very solid experience with App Tree Inc.

I had App Tree work for me a few weeks ago. And I want to say I am very impressed with the work that was done. Ed App and I went through my yard and went tree by tree and came to a joint agreement on what worked needed to be done. There was no pressure. He was very informative. The contact ended up including 5 tree removals and 4 trimmings. The workers came the next day and were done within 3 days. Not only did they clean up, they raked the yard better than it was before they started the work. I gave App Tree 5 stars because I was very impressed with the work that they did and how spotless my yard looked when they were done.

While I cannot comment on the other posts here, my experience with App Tree was quite great. Ed came and gave me a very reasonable price for 4 tree removals (I had gotten estimates from other tree companies prior). The workers came a few days later and worked very hard and efficiently. They were done inside 3 days and cleaned up really well. My yard looks greats and I can't complain. All and all my wife and I would give them an "A" and would both hire them again in the future and would recommend them to a friend.

Ed and crew took down seven large oak trees on my property. The trees were hanging over a shed, pool, and deck. They took great care to avoid damage and did the job in one day.

Do NOT hire App Tree, Inc. Whatever Ed App says he will do is a lie. After Ed App takes your money, he will do less than half the job he agreed to. Then they will drive away, leaving you to call him numerous times with no response, wondering if he will ever return to finish the job he was paid for. Ask yourself, is this the type of contractor you want to do business with? Do you have the time and money and energy to waste chasing after a low-life like this? Do you want to go through the hassle of taking him to small claims court, etc? Avoid at all costs!

I recently hired App Tree to remove 3 trees and trim 4 others on my property. I paid $2200 for this service. While I did not get quotes from other companies, I know neighbors paid in the range of $1000 per removal and about $250 per trim. When Zach App stopped by my house (Tuesday) and we negotiated this price, I had to give them a shot. Initially they were supposed to show up the following morning (Wed) to do the work... and then the morning after that (Thurs). After an angry phone call at 4pm on Thursday, Ed and his team showed up and removed one tree. I was a little worried while they removed the tree because they did not use a crane and these trees were very close to my house, the powerlines and directly above my neighbors vinyl fence. I aired my concerns to Ed and Zach and they returned first thing on Monday morning and completed the job in the pouring rain. I have to give them all the credit in the world here, Ed and Zach gave me their word that they would be her on Monday morning and he kept his word despite serious downpours. I think they deserve a 3.5 here but Yelp won't allow for it. Overall, for the price I think they surpassed my expectations. If Ed was to improve on his scheduling, I would have given a 4-5. Also, I think his son Zach is a great addition to his company. He stood by everything he said and was very reliable, responsive and a pleasure to work with. There is definitely some room for improvement here but if you have them write a specific day and time for your service on your contract I think it will help with their scheduling issues.

This crook promised me $1500 job would be completed by 30 days after signing

an agreement on Feb 6th. It is now May 13th, and job is about 10% completed.

Multiple phone calls not returned. He has promised to show up and complete at least 4 separate times, and no-showed each time with no phone call or explanation. Simply a crook, avoid at all costs.

Edward App is about as dishonest as they come. Do not

hire his company unless 1) you want to pay an outrageous price, 2) you want to

take on the liability if one of his workers gets hurt on the job, and 3) you want to

pay him for unnecessary services. He pays his workers under the table so they

won't be covered under workers' comp and if they get hurt on your property, you

will be liable. He doesn't even use the most basic safety precautions so this is a

distinct possibility. While removing trees on my neighbor's property, he had a crane

blocking the street with no police detail, workers were unsupervised, and his crew

caused substantial damage to my property. He is also notorious for talking people

into removing "dangerous" trees when they could just be trimmed. He gives

contractors a bad name.
