I would not put anyone you love in that place - My mother was sent to the hospital 4 times and each time I was not contacted. I've lived in NC for 2 years and my phone number has not changed. I gave them the same number each time, but each time my mother had medical problems I was not contacted. Funny, how they seemed to find my number when there was a problem with them getting their money from her pension. The only way I know that she was in the hospital was a conversation I had with her when she came home. One time she was in the hospital for about a week and I was not told she was until I started calling her and could not get in touch with her so I called the front desk and they didn't know what hospital she was in so I had to call around to find her. I was totally pissed with this facility. They have one worker by the name of Sharon that is so nasty that I don't understand why they have her answering the phone and greeting people coming in. Especially after they had several complaints about her. They have a new director and my sister and I personally introduced ourselves to her and informed her of the problems that we had with communication with their staff. Within the next two weeks I phoned my mother and she informed me that she passed out and was taken to the hospital and again, I was not notified.
