My husband and I moved in here back in 2021 and absolutely love it here. In September of 2023 we became the new camp hosts and have done our best to add to the charm and character of this beautiful place by creating a welcoming entrance area, revamping the flower garden area, (which we’re still planting flowers in), and added seating in the new dog park so elderly tenants and their guests can sit and relax while their dog goes potty and runs around to get exercise. We also added seating in the garden area for tenants and their guests to enjoy viewing the garden and watching the birds; also affording the ability for those who can’t walk the path down to the river to still enjoy seeing the river and watch the ducks and geese. At the river we included additional seating to sit on to watch the river up close and all the wildlife that frequents the river. The solar lights we’ve added around the resort create a charming ambiance in the evening. We plan to add more solar lights around the resort in the near future. Since we are on the river, we are able to offer tenants and their guests swimming, kayaking and fishing amenities. We also have a place to BBQ and bonfire down at the river. We do have bathroom facilities for tenants and their guests to use, however, we do t have showers at this time. We do our best to maintain a clean and safe resort here. The tenants we currently have are absolutely amazing! We truly have a great community in here and recommend this place for long term and short term stays, though we are biased

I have lived in this RV park for 1 1/2 years. These are some of the most helpful, honest people I have had the pleasure to rent from. The owner doesn't only come in on Tuesday! There is much more to the previous posters' story than what is being revealed here. This is an AWESOME park. There have been many children (some full time) who have stayed here in the last 1 1/2 years. I have never known the staff to be rude or turn people away for no reason. Do not be put-off by the negative post. It's beautiful and enjoyable here at Rising River RV Park!!!

bad staff

We called and stopped by a few times which the staff was advising us not to bring our family. They said they haven't had kids there for 4 years and still don't want any but if you want a form here you go. Well by law they can't deny us and they did have sights available. Our trailer is a 2015. We just wanted to have a months stay while we were in transition of moving into another home after selling our place. I am a Marine veteran an was shocked to here what they said. The owner comes in every Tuesday. Just wondering why staff have to make the owner look bad and now I'm spreading the word to people that the park looks nice but the staff is very one sided. Hope other people don't have the same problem that we occurred.
