After having worked in a dental office years ago, I have since been very particular about where I go for dental work. Drs Benner and Townsend are not only professional, they are truly wonderful people. Their staff, too, are genuinely caring and professional. Not only do I go to them, but so do all four of my children and my husband who hadn't seen a dentist in MANY years. We have never received any treatment that wasn't explained, nor have our children ever received any sort of treatment without our consent. I recommend this practice to everyone!

My wife and five year old son went in to have their teeth cleaned. We (my wife and I) had made the decision not to alllow the dentist to perform x-rays on our child's teeth which she told the office when she arrived. Once they were both in the chair, they convinced her that it would be in his best interest to have x-rays, even though there was no visible evidence of problems (his mother takes very good care of his teeth). They actually said " x-rays are less radiation than flourescent lighting''....well I guess that would explain the lead jacket and the hygenist stepping out of the room for the x-ray. Needless to say, I was pretty upset to find out the x-rays were performed anyway. I called the office and left a message for the dentist to call me. She returned my call and proceeded to call into question our parenting decisions....she should lose her liscense.......UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!

I had a filling that had popped out from a front tooth, just before the holiday weekend! I was so relieved to find that the office of Benner & Kennedy could see me the next morning; others could not work me in until after the holiday. When I arrived for my appointment I was nervous and anxious, it was a pretty large filling. In the room I met Dr. Brown and her assistant Michelle and after a few moments I began to feel more relaxed. They even made me laugh a couple of times - how often do you do that in 'the chair'? Dr. Brown was very gentle and took great care in making sure I felt no pain during the procedure. Michelle did a wonderful job making sure my filling color was natural, she has a 'knack' for it. Dr. Brown and Michelle work very well together, making sure everything was just perfect. I had the best dental experience I've ever had! I highly recommend them!
