This was my first Thai food ex...

This was my first Thai food experience, and the food was better than expected. The portion was generous and the spice level number 2 was just right on the noodles with chicken. I got a to go order so I cannot comment on wait staff, but the people who took my order and paid were quite pleasant. With a walk in to go order, it took about 8 minutes from ordering to walking out the door. Don't do fast food if you're anywhere near this restaurant, you could have something much better and more satisfying.

Best Thai Food in Town

Wow - I've probably had lunch or dinner in just about every Thai Place in this town - Thai Chalurn is the clear culinary winner! It's not the fanciest (It's nice though), but it is the BEST, most authentic Thai Food in San Antonio! The Service is top notch too; the Thai Chalurn team is attentive, flexible and friendly.

Try the Pad Kra Prao, Pad See-ewe, or Kee Mao (My Favorite). The Tom Yum Soup is really YUMmmy too. If you have a sweet tooth, please order the Mango and Sticky Rice or the Coconut Ice Cream --Salivating-- I'm going to lunch now.

Check out their menu here: http://www.thaichalurn.com

Simply the BEST !

Let me start off by saying, I love Thai food. I've eaten at most in San Antonio and Boerne. Given this wide array of places to choose from, I choose Thai Chalurn. Honestly I haven't eaten at another since experiencing Thai Chalurn. I haven't eaten anything on the menu that wasn't great and I've never left hungry. My favorite is the Panang (coconut curry). Just the right amount of spice and sweet.

No its not big and its not fancy, but if you're more into the food than the ambiance, this is the place for you. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a dive. Its always clean, friendly staff, easy to park and they have take out. Whats not to like. Do yourself a favor and just try it. Trust me it won't be your last visit.

Great place, delicious Thai cuisine!

Great food and friendly service! The menu has a large selection of Thai dishes and is prepared with your choice of meat, i.e. chicken, pork or beef for many menu items and you can also specify how spicy you would like the meal prepared using a scale of 1-5, from mild to very spicy. I've enjoyed sampling many of the different entrees and noodle soup and everything has been delicious.
