Janice was the perfect photographer for our outdoor family event held in August at a lovely country home in Maine. This was a very special event to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of our loved ones. Prior to the event, I contacted Janice and we talked about options and did some general planning. She had great ideas and was very friendly and professional. On the day of the event, she came early to check out the scene, check lighting, and help make decisions on where to take best photographs. She had asked in advance for a list of key people to take pictures of (and combinations thereof) because she wanted to ensure that we captured the right photos. She captured some very tender, emotional moments in the renewal of vows and also took initiative to capture some really nice candid shots of important people who generally were picture-shy. Janice became part of the large extended family that day as everyone just adored her. I was personally impressed with how flexible, calm, and nice she was while also paying attention to all the technical and creative aspects of photography. We had given the hired photography as part of a gift for their wedding anniversary. After the event, the gift recipient came up to us and emotionally expressed how special the gift was and how no one had ever done something that special before. My other half, who was not originally a fan of this photography gift idea -- thinking too extravagant and that they wouldn't need it or want it -- also thanked me profusely after telling me everything was great and that it was a great gift idea. Janice’s personality and talent were perfect for the job and we are immensely grateful for her being so generous with her time to help ensure that we captures planned pictures as well as a ton of unplanned ones as well. Janice was just terrific in every way. She helped make the special day extra special! Thank you again Janice, we are forever grateful!

Janice has been our photographer for two of our daughters, We found Janice to be very kind considerate and she listened to what we wanted to have in the senior portraits. Janice was professional before during and after the shoot. During the shoot i was happy she was so creative & patient. I would describe her as THE most timely photographer with whom i have worked. 24 hours after the shoot she was calling me to tell me she could even drop the CD off at my home! Janice Vining is a fabulous photographer. Our non-profit organization used her for our summer camp photos. This included individual portraits, team pictures, candid photos of our program and sports action shots. We were thoroughly impressed by her professionalism and presence while taking the photos. Janice is very patient with young children, waiting for the absolute perfect moment to snap a photo. She provides various different poses to choose from, and we are never disappointed. Janice goes to any location, and has creative ideas for each photo. She captures the natural beauty of the surroundings and the clients. Her work is wonderful and affordable. We will never use another photographer again.
