Founded in 1964, The Montessori School provides toddler, primary, elementary and middle school programs. It offers a range of academic and extracurricular options to more than 250 students. The school s curriculum includes math, science, writing, reading, social studies and English. It conducts classes in various foreign languages, such as French, Spanish, Latin and Chinese. The school also offers a variety of sports programs, including basketball, soccer and cross-country, as well as operates a running club. Located in Wilton, Conn., The Montessori School is accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale and the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools. In addition, the school offers several before- and after-school programs.
