I moved to Concord from New London over two years ago -- still bring the animals to Dr. Palmer. She is great! Kind, compassionate, practical -- and no, I do not think she overcharges at all. I feel like she is a real doctor, not just a business person with her eye on my wallet instead of my pet.

Dr. Palmer is so well-suited for what she does. She is so good with animals and ALWAYS puts their health, happiness, and comfort first. Her clinic is warm, welcoming, and professional. We'll be giving her our business for as long as we're in the area.

I do not agree with the other reviewer about her prices. She is affordable and accessible.

I like the service from Dr. P, but Carol is misleading with the fees when asked over the phone she underquotes. Twice I have come in and after the services are rendered I've been shocked with the bill amount. $150 for neutering for each cat!! this is three times as much as the other local vets that charge from $40 - $60. Pleasant Lake Vet charges only $55 per cat for neutering. $80 for first shots for kittens! Others charge from $35-45 for this. Good service but definitly overcharging almost 3x as much with some procedures. No wonder there are so many unneutered pets out there. I'm switching to Pleasant Lake.
