- T.A. Woods Company began in 1991 as a family-owned small contractor working on commercial and industrial remediation sites. Through long days of hard work coupled with fortitude, we have created a company that is an integral part of North Carolina’s construction industry. Originally we concentrated on mechanical and plumbing construction, but we realized our clients needed a more comprehensive Building Partner. In 2003 we incorporated an Electrical Division which helped create a “one stop shop” for major building systems – mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. We weren’t finished yet. Our team decided the next step would be to incorporate general construction into our commercial services. In 2012 we obtained our building license.
