Southeastern Center for MH/DD/SA provides a range of support services for individuals who are suffering from substance abuse, mental disorders and developmental disabilities. The center specializes in several areas, including schizophrenia, psychotherapy, autism, life issues, child care, anger management, geriatrics, psychological testing and parenting. The center provides basic health care services and lifespan development treatment. It also provides treatment for a wide range of health issues that include alcohol and substance abuse, anxiety, sexual problems, stress, grief, and learning, personality, and mental and medical disorders. In addition, Southeastern Center for MH/DD/SA provides mental health-related education in the fields of psychology, psychiatric and social work. It publishes newsletters to provide information about the problems of victims of substance abuse. The center is accredited by the Council on Accreditation.
