I had engaged Mr. Lowder because he was a local person, I got his name out of the yellow pages.

This man came on site to my business and bragged about what a great salesperson he was, he did a lot of what I call apeing and grinning for no reason.

I had a variety of things collected over years from various business and ventures all in one building. , a red leather Italian couch to a fork-lift and everything in between.

Mr. Lowder surveyed the items and told me that conservitively I would get anywhere from five to six thousand dollars for everything.

The day of the auction I was out of town and so was my assistent.

He held the auction with no reserves and gave away things for ten dollars and five dollars. He sold my forklift for fifty bucks, he sold the couch for ten dollars,. just gave everything away.( this was the forklift he said would bring in about two thousand dollars)

I tried to call on Monday to find out how I had made out and he didn't answer his phone.

Three days later I got a check in the mail from him for $138..

I couldn't believe it.

About a week later a neighbor came up to me and said that she went over after the auction and picked up a stove top gas grill by JennAir that I had for sale, originally two thousand dollars but five years old now and I had it for sale for a hundred and fifty, he had just tossed it outside, she found it in the parking lot, what a jerk.

This mans is a social menace.
