Located in Wilmington, Del., Carrcroft Elementary School offers academic classes to students in kindergarten through grade three. The school supports an array of programs, such as English as a Second Language, gifted and talented education, speech therapy and reading intervention. The school s guidance counselor works directly with the faculty, students and parents to facilitate the academic success and personal development of the students. Carrcroft Elementary School has a library that holds a collection of picture books, easy fiction and beginning chapter books, and fiction and nonfiction titles, as well as provides various databases, reference materials, magazines and newspapers. The elementary school operates a health office that administers prescribed and nonprescribed medication. It also maintains a parent-teacher association.
