Don't be fooled by the beautiful decor. Short staffed, inexperienced staff, non caring staff. Awful experience. Family member fell and broke her hip and was getting PT for one week with a broken hip. Disgraceful. Staff seemed disgruntled and unhappy.

They made a mistake in my paperwork which caused my insurance to refuse to pay my bill. I even have a SIGNED letterhead admitting it was their mistake and not mine but they refuse to ever let me into another Cadia facility unless I pay the bill out of pocket. That's what my insurance was for.

Then they wanted me to apply for Medicare. They said they could get Medicare to pay all but around $4,000 which they said I would have to pay. Thoughtful since I pay for insurance for that.

So now I'm banned from all Cadia facilities because I won't pay for a mistake they even admit THEY made.

We wanted to like Cadia. It is apparent that they think they are doing a far better job than they truly are. In speaking with residents who are there long term, you won't find many who are happy. They are very short staffed and not equipped for those with complex medical issues. It is a lovely, modern facility with a few excellent therapists and a few nurses who are very capable and on the ball. I was promised far more than has been delivered . This review is written primarily to help those who are in their search for a safe , caring environment for their elderly loved ones for either rehabilitation or long term care. Look elsewhere.... this is a prettily wrapped package with very little inside.
