Best African hair shop I have been to by far.20% if you mention the word friend. Worked for me:-)

My appointment was for 9:30. Got there and had to wait until 10 for her niece to come to do my hair. She didn't know what she was doing, and my marley twists looked more like individuals. Also, I was told $140 over the phone and ended up paying $160. Never going back

I went to get senegalese twists on monday. For one she was late and then as she was in the middle of doing my hair she left to pick up another hair stylist who was late. Now its sunday and most of my twist are came out and are very loose! I'm very disappointed. I spend $160 and that was a BIG waste. When I called tk complain she didn't even offer to put the twist I lost back in. Never again will I go to them. That was my first and last time. If I could give me no stars I would!

The place was very nice but the lady gave me one price over the phone then charged me extra once I got to the shop and she saw the length of my natural hair. (I was never told that the person length of my hair made the price more we only discussed that the length of the braids increased or decreased the price) I didn't have a problem with paying the extra until the owner kept asking me every 2 mins about the extra 10 that I owed and had her sister follow me to the ATM to make sure that I paid the extra. Totally unprofessional and unnecessary. The people barely speak English and they're rude plus they almost snap your neck turning your head how they want it positioned while braiding. If you complain about their roughness when turning your head they sigh and mumble in their dialect. The woman who braided my hair was very slow due to the fact that she stopped every 5 secs to talk and yell in my face while on the phone with someone. I was mad because people that came in after me were done before me. Bad first experience. Wouldn't recommend it. I'll be going to Philly from now on. Never again. :-(

I took my daughter and me here. I got seyenese twist and she got micro's. We were both was in the chair at the same time. The ladies are very nice. Our hair came out pretty. Will be going again.

WONDERFUL PLACE!!! THEY TOOK ME ON SHORT NOTICE. GOT THERE AT 6PM THEY CLOSE AT 7PM AND THEY WERE DONE AT 9 SOMETHING!!! SHORT TIME TO GET MY HAIR DONE!! I GOT WET AND WEVY DONE AND THE PRICE WAS GOOD! THERE WAS MY FRIEND AND THE TWO LADIES THAT WORK THERE. THATS ALL!!! VERY HOME FEELING!!! I ENJOYED IT!!!! SO IF YOU ARE RUNNING LATE OR JUST NEED YOUR HAIR DONE GO THERE B/C THEY WORK FAST AND ARE DONE QUICK!!!
