A clothes washer was giving me trouble. A number of web sites said it was probably the pump. I showed the old pump to the guy at the counter, and it said it might be the pump or the coupling. A few keystrokes later he comes back with a price $63. I said I could get the same pump for $30 online. He agreed, and said “if you add in the cost of next day shipping, the cost would be similar.” And his is correct. He put a new pump on the counter . I asked if he was sure, because he never asked the make of the clothes washer. He said there are two styles. The size of the ports are either the same or one is smaller. We discussed the problems I was having with the washer and then he knocked $5 off the cost of the pump. I agreed, and as I was about to sign the receipt, when I asked about their return policy. 30 days provided the package is unopened. One site I saw had a very friendly return policy.

Well the new pump fixed the washer!

I am giving four stars because of the convenience and the advice, but withholding the 5th star because of the pricing and their return policy. But if need a part to repair an appliance in a hurry, I would definitely go back to Marcone
