After recently buying a home, the inspections and experts said I had 3-5 years left on my roof. Unfortunately, it was more like 3-5 months. After two leaks and a failed repair job, I decided it was time to bite the bullet.

I got quotes from 4 reputable roofing companies (and another who will remain nameless that tried to tell me I could get it covered by my homeowners insurance- SCAM- INSURANCE FRAUD!!)

My experience with C & C was perfect from the start. I called right before Thanksgiving and explained my situation to their office. They were very friendly and seemed to honestly want to help me with my situation. I NEEDED to get this done to prevent any damage to my home. The had an estimator sent out on Black Friday morning!

This is where it gets even better!!! I met with Jeff Albert (the estimator) and he took his time to answer my questions and explain my options for a roof replacement. After spending over an hour with me, he provided me with an estimate.

Let me disclose that C & C wasn't the cheapest, but certainly were not the most expensive. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! It was pretty obvious that Jeff and C & C stood out from the rest. I was willing to pay a few hundred more for a reputable company that has been in business for 25+ years.

After talking it over with my Wife, we decided to move forward with C & C. I can say now after the finished project I was happy I did! The crew showed up early, were respectful, thorough and efficient. In no time, they had torn my old roof off, done repairs and reroofed! Wow were they fast. Most companies estimated 2 days, it took C & C 1 day.

I can't express how happy I am that I went with C & C. I can say I am not the kind of guy that writes reviews for ANYTHING, but for this I needed to take the time to SHOUT FROM THE ROOFTOPS ( MY NEW ROOF TOP!) that C & C deserves every bit of the praise they get.

If you need a new roof, call C & C and make sure you speak to Jeff Albert. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!!!!

When we needed a new roof we called C and C. They have done roof repairs for us in the past and put a new roof on our previous house. Chris, with sales, came to our house. He was very helpful and informative. He provided us with an estimate quickly. The workers were hard working and efficient. They did the job in one day and cleaned up the premises. The roof looks great! We called the next day for some minor cleanup after the dumpster was removed. Although I was expecting a particular employee to come, Chris showed up and promptly completed the cleanup, going above and beyond. I would highly recommend C and C for large and small jobs.

Do not use C & C Family Roofing. I normally am not huge on reviews because a single employee interaction is not enough to give a feel for a company but my experience with C & C Family Roofing was so bad that I felt I had to. Hopefully I can save someone else from the experience that I went through.

We had them come out because we saw some leaking in our master bathroom under where the vent fan is. Their repair man looked in the bathroom said it was a leaking pipe collar and would be an easy fix. First off they do not accept credit cards unless you are willing to pay the 3% service charge which should have been a bad sign. When we paid the deposit for them to come out they said they could not actually give me an idea of when they would get here, but they would call the day of. I was not thrilled since my wife and I work, but they came out and “fixed it” when we were at work.

A few weeks later after a big storm we saw that the drywall damage had gotten a lot worse so we called them back to come out and check their repair. This time I told them I wanted to be home for it so they had to give me a days notice. The repair man came out and said they replaced a different pipe collar. It turns out the original guy wrote down a 2 inch collar but the leaking one was a 3 inch, and that it was my fault for not knowing the difference. He repaired the original one and said for me to contact the office. I called them because I wanted to know who was going to pay to fix all the water damage that I received from them not fixing the right collar. After a back and forth with the GM John he said he would send out a check for $100 to pay for some of the cost.

I did not receive the check for 3 weeks and when I called back I was informed John was no longer with the company and spoke with a woman I think was named Virgina. Right off the bat she was very aggressive and almost yelling at me. She did not even let me speak and told me that I should be paying them for fixing the wrong pipe collar which they cant even prove was broken. I told her what John and I discussed and she said since I didn’t have it in writing no one cares and that I'm lucky they aren’t making me pay for fixing something that is not broken. After realizing she was clearly insane I hung up and decided to just end it.

Please do not use C & C Family Roofing, they are a company of scam artists. They claimed they have tons of experience and would not replace something that was fine but they don’t even pay enough detail to repair the correct pipe collar. Do yourself a huge favor and use anyone else for your repairs but them.

Although I've been praying for a hail storm for a few years now, Nature did not cooperate and neither did Sandy. As a result, I needed to replace my old roof without the benefit of an insurance claim to help with the cost...yikes.

I obtained several estimates and chose C&C Family Roofing based on their reasonable pricing backed up by an exceptional warranty program and Chris ( The Manager) genuine concern for making sure I understood all of my roofing options and needs.

The C&C Roofing crew completed my new roof in one day and left my property in pristine condition, even cleaning up after the house painting company that just finished painting the exterior of my home and left a mountain of trash behind - the C&C Roofing crew cleaned up everything and hauled it off.

My roof looks fantastic and I couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend C&C Family Roofing.

They did a great job after we had parts of our roof blown off from Hurricane Sandy. We set it up with Chris, who was very pleasant, and he immediately set up a time for us. The guys that fixed our roof came on time, and they were thorough (and really nice). Their pricing was also competitive.

We also liked that they gave us a warranty in case any of our shingles came off. We are happy with the work and would recommend it to anyone looking for a roofing contractor.

Acted very professionally. We had a huge amount of damage to our roof when an oak tree fell through it during Superstorm Sandy. C&C were one of the few contractors who got back to us quickly, came out to assess our damage and get an estimate to us. They understood that three rooms in our house were basically open to the elements, protected only by tarps. As soon as my insurance company sent us a check, C&C was out to do the work. All repairs to joists and rafters were done, and the new roof was on in just a few days. Can't tell you how happy I was!
