I dont normally give out recommendations but in the case of Top Notch Tree service I will happily make an exception. I contacted this company in June of 2014 and talked to Tom Napier the owner. There were a dozen large trees (over 80 feet) we wanted removed consisting of pines and oaks. There were two large oaks and two large pines to be removed that were within ten to 20 feet of our home and ornamental trees that we wanted to save. He listened to what I wanted and suggested how he could go about doing it. After we agreed on the scope of work he was able to give me an estimate on the spot which I accepted. A few weeks later as promised his crew came out and did an excellent job of removing the trees without damaging the house or the ornamental trees. They did such a good job of picking up and cleaning up it would have been hard to tell were the trees were except for the little bit of stumps that were left as I requested. It was a pleasure to work with a company that cares about American Values and American workers .I would happily use this company again. O. Andrews, Williamsburg

The crew was really professional and polite and cleaned up after themselves.Tom, who was in the trees doing the cutting, was thoughtful of the wildlife that might have lived in the trees. Local company that does a great job.

My husband and I recently hired Top Notch to remove (5) super large trees from our property.; the trees were in a very expensive bed of bushes. Top Notch removed all trees without a hitch! I've had several very large Hickory trees removed from our yard in Ford's Colony by Top Notch Tree Service. The company is fantastic, delivering what they promised in an efficient, timely and professional manner. Each time, they were very reasonably priced, did a great job cleaning up before they left and were polite and accommodative. Accordingly, I have no hesitancy in strongly recommending them for any job, large or small.

We have been using Top Notch Tree Service for over 6 years for our lawn care needs. They do a great job mowing and trimming ,and we recently had them do the mulching in our yard. They did a beautiful job at a reasonable price. They were able to do it within a few days of my phone call, and they are extremely reliable. That is something I am finding harder and harder to come by lately.

I had Top Notch trim trees for me yesterday and they did a fabulous job. The guys were great, did everything I expected and more and they left the yard and driveway spotless. I would highly recommend them and will definitely call them again when I need tree work.

top notch tree service is so perfational they took down 12 trees for me with the best estimate out of 13 estimates! I am a huge fan thanks so much. i recomend this to any body with a tree that needs to be cut down or trimed.

We used Top Notch to remove a very tall tree beside our house. They did a wonderful job! I couldnt of asked for anything better! The owner is very friendly and the crew that removed the tree was great and clean up was terrific! We actually got 6 quotes and they were ALOT cheaper! Anyone would be crazy to use anyone else:)
