My mouth was watering…the smell of the well seasoned sausage, savory onion and garlic pizza sitting in the passenger seat next to me was getting increasingly hard to keep my hands away from. It was my first order from Michael’s Pizza here in Wildomar, and the locals had been raving about the quality of the pizza. I had decided to pick one up as it was just across the street from the Post Office on Palomar.



I finally got home, hastily fed the Vermicious Knids (ie my horses) and settled in with a Diet Coke and two slices of my pizza. The crust had just enough crunch outside and a perfectly balance of sturdy and light on the inside. The toppings…rich tomato sauce, perfectly melted gooey mozzarella were an incredible base to the freshly chopped garlic and onions and the savory, mouth burstingly flavorful sausage. My initial hunger sated, I went for another two slices, this time really savoring the individual flavors that harmonized so well together. This was a blissful experience that left me in a Pizza Zen state. Full, happy and relaxed for the evening.
