It also maintains the landscape of park facilities and urban forests that include more than 6,700 acres of city-owned property. Additionally, it offers various extracurricular activities for adults and youth, such as sculpture, drawing, music, painting, photography, dance, gymnastics, soccer and Latin dancing. The department also offers an educational facility for the public to enable them to learn about natural resources, such as wildlife.
