The museum holds a permanent collection of more than 6,700 works by such artists as Benny Andrews, Diane Arbus, Helen Frankenthaler, Zhang Huan, Jacob Lawrence, Joan Mitchell, Robert Motherwell, Rodney McMillian, Gordon Parks, W.
