Mark and LaLana Moore owners and operators of Scenic Landscapes Water Garden Nursery have been passionately involved in landscaping and water gardening since 1978. Mark established the nursery in 1985. The focus on water features came a few years later. Since the early days, hard work, continuous study, research, and experience has helped to expand their business into the exciting and inspirational place it is today. With over 34 years of water gardening and landscaping experience, our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you with your gardening needs and questions. Located on five acres in west Wichita, Kansas, you are welcome to come stroll through the gardens of over 25 various water features from Koi Ponds, Water Gardens, Disappearing Waterfalls, Bubbling Rock Fountains, Overflowing Urns and Container Water Gardens just to name a few. We sell everything needed to construct and maintain your water feature and specialize in rustic and natural landscapes and out door living environments. Many of the items we sell are: LIVING - trees, shrubs, perennials, aquatic plants, aquatic life, Koi, tadpoles, fancy gold fish... HARDSCAPE - stone, pond liner, rock, pumps, biological and mechanical filters, U.V. units, fittings, tubing, fish and pond care additives, decorative landscape items, pottery, skimmers, pond vacs, pond predator solutions and so much more. INSTALLATION and SERVICES available are: landscape design and installation, consultations, natural pathways, patios and retaining walls, water feature installation, pond maintenance and troubleshooting, pond cleaning, overhaul existing water gardens, educational workshops and seminars, group tours, facility rental for special events wedding, meetings, portrait settings... You my have seen our Great Garden display's over the past 35 years at the annual Wichita Garden Show, Exhibits such as Narnia, Noah's Ark, Touching Natures Edge, Jacobs Ladder, Old Mill Charm, and UP just to name a few. The show will be missed and the people that made it happen, especially Alex Ling coordinator and everyones mama during the show. Workshops: We will teach you how to installi your own Water Garden Features and how to maintain them. These classes are in the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month @10:00 am. There is no fee or need to sign up for these workshops and seminars. April May June Aug Sep Oct 13th & 20th 11th & 25th 8th & 22nd 10th & 24th 14th and 28th 12th                     Annual Twilight Tour: This tour takes place every year on the first Friday and Saturday night in October, on the 4th and 5th from dusk (8:00 pm) to midnight. Come stroll under the stars though over 25 gardens and water features illuminated with night lighting , candles and torches. Sip on a hot cup of apple cider while you roast a hotdog and marshmallow over the campfire pit. Munch on a bag of popcorn and watch a movie out in the garden. or just sit in one of the various gardens and visit with friends and enjoy the scenery.
