VERY ANGRY AND HURT, He will not work with you if you are running late, his office will not see you if you do not have your co-pay and he does not care if you are scheduled for surgery and need your pre-ops a week in advance, if you miss your appointment he does nothing to help you because i missed my appointment he refused to let me come late made me wait from Weds to the following Monday then refused to see me because i could not pay the co pay that day. He had also put me on pain medicine to control my pain until surgery then stopped prescribing it to me and i ended up in the emergency room in horrific pain and they did my surgery the very next day. They also do not care if you are in pain and they do not taper you off medicine before stopping it and if you owe them money they will not call in your refills until you pay them, doesn't matter what kind of medicine it is. VERY SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been going to Egelhoff for about 1 year and am happy him and his staff. My other doctor left and I decided to give him a try. He seems very knowledgable and being doing it a long time. No complaints.

My husband and I went in to Dr. Egelhof the first of August as new patients. We both have Rhuematoid Arthritis. We didn't have anything wrong, we just wanted to get to know him as our new physician. We had to go in seperate rooms which was weird to begin with. Then when it came my turn to interview with him, (my husband got to come and join me), we told him together what our health was like and what meds we are on. Unfortunately I am on the most meds because my RA is severe. My husband and I both take Remicade treatments and Orencia once a month and I take weekly Methotrexate shots. He rolled his eyes when we were telling him this. We weren't impressed with him during the interview. 2 days after our visit he had his nurse call us to tell us we could not get our treatments and I could not get my shots. (He didn't even try to refer us to different Rhuematologists.) He did not agree with our rheumatologist choice of treatments. Since our insurance only lets us go to new docs the first of the month, we have had to forgo our treatments this month and no metho shots for me. My husband has missed 2 days of work because of severe pain! We both have been taking pain pills to get us through, plus the Lord's help. I thought these kinds of doctors were gone. Obviously I was wrong. We will be going to a new doctor in 1 week, who will hopefully listen to our needs and have compassion!
