1st & last time. 1st off: Staff not as friendly. Did not receive a tour of facility or asked on a tour. I took my 2 precious Shih Tzus 2 be groomed. I knew they had some matting due to the length & an absence in finding another groomer. Long story short. Mindy, (The Groomer) cut both my puppies's hair all off. After, i told her the cut i wanted. She did not contact me, 2 ask me, whether she could cut it all off. And, upon further inspection, both my puppies's hair on their ears are uneven, face & body. Not exactly happy!!! To make matters worse. My puppies were left in a small area with diarrhea on some puppy pads from some other puppies, by themselves. Do not know how long the poop was there, but that was unacceptable, especially after they had been groomed. There was a guy halfway mopping the common area & some girl had just walked in, when I arrived. All the other puppies were outside, while my puppies were left unattended by themselves, yapping, with a bowl of water that did not look fresh, because I had to stop & buy them a cup of water, they were panting like they were thirsty & low & behold, they were very thirsty. It just seemed as though, me & my puppies were not welcomed as new customers, like I assumed from reading the reviews!!!! I LOVE MY PUPPIES UNCONDITIONALLY & I WILL NOT ACCEPT LESS THEN ACCEPTABLE TREATMENT FOR THEM OR MYSELF!!!

DO NOT take your dog to this p...

DO NOT take your dog to this place! I took my 4lb yorkie here for 4 days while I was out of town. I went and picked her up and when we got home noticed that she had diarea, so i picked her up and noticed that she had poop stuck so bad to her behind I had to cut it out. I emailed Paws to Play and the lady basically tried to tell me that she wasnt like that when she left there. Really??? In a matter of 15 minutes she pooped on herself during the car ride home and it was stuck so bad to behind I had to cut it out! If you love your pet don't take them here!

After visiting 4 different boa...

After visiting 4 different boarding kennels, we were ready to cancel our travel plans. We had never left our two little ones and were finding it pretty difficult to do. Then we came across Paws to Play. We went in for a quick visit and were instantly comforted by the sound and site of puppies (all the same size as our dogs) running around, jumping, playing, taking a snooze, etc. They all seemed so comfortable with their human friends at Paws to Play, Terri and her staff. Terri surprised us with a complimentary daycare session upon our first visit. Although our dogs were nervous at first, and scared without their Mom and Dad (who are too over protective), they were sad to leave when we picked them up and still continue to run to the front door of our house and bark when we say "want to go to daycare??" Terri is always very upfront with us about how their visits go, gives us tips on training when we ask and stories from her experiences. I love that there is someone with the dogs overnight when they are boarding. The couches and toys make the facility feel like a home, not just a dog run like most boarding options locally. Terri and her staff treat the dogs like their family, play games with them, talk to them. It's the only place I have ever felt comfortable leaving our two princesses. I also feel like the prices at Paws to Play are very fair and competitive. We couldn't be happier to have found Terri and her staff. Kaia and Tiger say "Thanks!"

Paws to Play

If you have a dog 25lbs or under and are looking for that special daycare where you'll feel comfortable leaving your baby, knowing he/she's safe and having fun.... you're looking for Paws to Play!

I was so nervous when looking for a place for my new 4 month puppy to meet other dogs and socialize... I have heard too many horror daycare stories where dogs are abused by staff or romped around by other dogs! But, as soon as I walked into Paws to Play, where everything was clean (including staff), and the dogs were playing and having fun in an upbeat friendly environment, I knew it was the place for my baby! You'd think an amazing place like this would charge out the wazoo for keeping pups, but they don't! Whenever my puppy hears me grab my keys now, he's like, "hey, are we going to see my friends at Paws to Play?!?"

The staff are so friendly, and genuinely care! They helped answer so many questions about my new baby and his grooming needs. And what's more, they have a personal groomer!

If you're looking for a place for your baby, stop in sometime and just visit! That's what I did, and now I'm just as addicted to going as my puppy Bruno is!

I feel comfortable leaving my pugs

This is such a fun place for smaller dogs! My pugs enjoy going here and they can't wait to get in the door when we arrive. It is a safe environment and the staff is attentive to the dogs, I don't worry about their well-being. I know they are well cared for while they are here and I trust Terri and her staff. It is apparent that Terri enjoys the dogs and that the dogs are actively engaged in play and get plenty of attention. It is refreshing to have an option in daycare and boarding where the smaller dogs can go and socialize in a comfortable environment without the intimidation of being around big dogs. When the pugs come home they are content for the evening after a day at Paws to Play. I highly recommend that even the protective parents out there to give it a try!

We have two dogs that LOVE to go to Paws To Play. Zoe and Freckles have been going there for months and have even got to spend a week there while we were on vacation. Terri and her staff even checked in with us to let us know the pups were doing great. Having someone on site any time there is a boarder there gives us a great piece of mind that our pups are never alone.

Terri and her staff do a excellent job caring for the pups and even work with them on basic commands and behavior. We would highly recommend Paws To Play to anyone.

Great for small dogs

Our CoCo, Lhasa Apso, has been going to Paws to Play for day care/boarding. She loves the staff and plays well with all the other dogs. It's a wonderful faciliity with great accommodations for dogs 25 lbs. or less (toys, positive environment, 24/7 supervision, great indoor/outdoor areas, great socialization with other dogs, very, very reasonable cost). It's been so good for her and us as well. We can't say enough positive things about Terri and her staff. Great job ladies!! We recommend Paws to Play for anyone!!
