Where there used to be one, now there are seven. GreenAcres Market, a Midwestern chain of health food stores started by Barb Hoffmann and her family in 1994, got its start in Wichita, Kansas’ largest city and has spread through the years to Missouri and Oklahoma. It’s not stopped growing yet! The flagship store located in the Bradley Fair shopping center features an all-organic and local-produce salad bar, made-from-scratch hot case and deli menu, gluten-free, vegan and RAW dessert case, smoothie bar and more. Test marketing on customers has brought some winners to the daily menu including regular and gluten-free potpies, crunchy kale salad, cold berry soup and raw chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. Thanks to a refrigerated truck and a couple of vans, the rest of the stores in the chain partake of these nutritious goodies which are available in grab & go hot case/cold case standing units.

Awesome!

Green acres is great! They have fresh produce, excellent customer service, and a delicious deli market! I discovered this organic store recently and fell in love. I recommend this market for all people. Everything is a bit pricey but when it comes to health, it is all worth it. As far as a friendly demeanor and nutritionous food, the also have organic body fragrance, body and hair soap, facial cream, vitamins, and the like. This store has everything you need!
