East Whittier Middle School is a public institution that provides academic classes to students in grades six through eight. The school has a parent-teacher-student association that conducts regular meetings and provides planning and implementation of a variety of fundraising activities for the benefit of the school. It has a School Site Council that is composed of elected parents, teachers and other staff members who make all decisions regarding the school s categorical budgets. The school provides educational classes in various subjects, such as math, science, social studies, art, reading, writing, health and physical education. East Whittier Middle School is a part of the East Whittier School District and is located in Whittier, Calif.
