This traditional Japanese restaurant consistently wins accolades for its fresh sushi, as well as its cooked entrees. To watch the action, sit at the sushi bar; otherwise, claim a table and you'll be treated to solicitous and charming service. Order your favorite drink from a selection of premium sakes or mixed drinks; one of our favorites is the Sakatini, served with cucumber spears instead of olives. Be sure to check the specials, which are always tasty, although you'll want to leave room to experiment with new flavor sensations such as the roll with sun dried tomato. Once the staff gets to know you, you'll receive a visit at your table from each one. If you want something not on the extensive menu, it will be prepared to your wishes. The one weak spot is dessert, not a big item in Oriental cultures, apparently, and coffee is not available. But this is a small quibble; dine out in style and you'll return often.
