Always have cars fixed at this Midas. It's close to my house and very convenient.

Today, I brought my sons car in for an oil change. He called for an appointment in the morning. I drove the car in at 1pm and checked in. While the car was being worked on, I noticed the Midas sign on the street stating there was a 17.99 oil change special today. I asked Bob if I was going to get the special and he stated it's just for oil and filter only. That's fine, but Bob didn't mention the special to my son when he called, and Bob didn't mention to me when I checked in. How disenjenuous not to mention the special, not only to my son when he called, but to a repeat customer with 3 cars in the household. Needless to say, I have to question what the motivations are!!! Bleed the customer at all costs comes to mind. Goodbye forever.

brought our car in for overheating when a/c on and idling. said nothing was wrong. car overheated on the way home. took somwhere else today and the fan assembly was screwed up. My car could have blown up. Employees are smoking in the shop. Not good business ethics. I would like a call at 630-254-4045. Very rude-made me very angry.

Be aware of Bob Huhn, the location manager of Midas in Wheeling. He is a liar and a thief. Location performs shoddy unnecessary work, overcharges and lies straight to your face.

The corporate office is not much better: Darrel Fisher who supposedly central region manager, has not once responded or acknowledged any communications forwarded to him.

Midas location performed over $1200 of unnecessary work on my vehicle, moreover when the vehicle was taken to an actual reputable mechanic it turned out the work was done incorrectly and needed to be fixed. I am now convinced that this is one of the poorest ran companies I have dealt with in a long time. I feel sad for their share holders and other customer burned by dealing with Midas.
