At last I found a church that follows what Jesus would do. All are welcome just as you are. You want to become more that a member by name and actively support the workings of this little Lutheran church. I call it the thinking person's religion as I am constantly challenged in my beliefs even when 'black or white' would be so much easier. We have excellent leadership at all levels by people who believe in the triune God.The members really do support each other and there is a big, active, outreach into the community near and far.

We have been members of St. Paul for more than thirty years.We joined because it had great programs for our children and a great music program.Over the years we have accepted many challenges including becoming open and affirming. We say "come as your are" and let yourself grow in the spirit.We have great pastors who deliver challenging messages and being a member just gets more exciting every year.

My partner and I have found St. Paul to be true to its open and affirming statement. We have been welcomed with open arms and have participated in many ministries. The pastors' sermons are both challenging and encouraging...and the music is fantastic. This is a vibrant and spirit-filled place.

I was looking for a church where I felt welcome. The first time I visited St Paul Lutheran in Wheaton I was greeted and engaged in a conversation with several of the people. Even the pastor welcomed me. I've been there for a few years now and it sure hasn't changed. This is the best church I've ever attended and believe me I serched around for a long time before I found my home at St Paul.
