At SandFree we prepare your existing hardwood floor to receive a new coat of urethane without any sanding. The entire process is dustless and sand-less and all of the products that we use is child, pet, and environmentally friendly. This is the same urethane that Brunswick uses on their bowling alleys and we use real urethane for real wood. The urethane product that we use for home owners should last for 6 to 8 years and is currently available in satin, semi-gloss, and gloss finishes. If you are a home seller, we have a less expensive product that will look great for a shorter period of time. We will also perform floor repairs, furniture movement, carpet and pad take-up is available. What Is Sandfree? SandFree is a 5 phase, chemical process with abrasion which prepares an existing floor to receive a Urethane finish. The first 3 phases prepare the existing finish on a floor to receive a coat of urethane without sanding. The fourth phase is a bonding coat that provides a surface for the urethane to bond to. The fifth phase is the application of the same urethane Brunswick uses on their bowling alleys... The fact that we use water-based products that have almost no odor makes the process extremely attractive for people who don't want to lose the use of their property for a period of 3-5 days.
