Dr. Lauren Peirish is a proud North Hills native, with her educational career starting just minutes away from our offices at Vincentian Academy. In 2015, she graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University, where she studied biology and spent a semester abroad in Venice, Italy. Reluctantly, she moved away from the warm North Carolina weather to Philadelphia, where she attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. In optometry school, she completed the Advanced Studies program in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision, and was inducted into leadership and academic honor societies for her achievements. She graduates with Clinical Honors and at the top of her class in May. Dr. Peirish enjoys providing comprehensive patient care with a personalized approach. Because of this, we feel she is a perfect fit for our practice. Dr. Peirish and her fiancé John are looking forward to their wedding in September. John is also a Vincentian alumnus, and works for the Pittsburgh Pirates. When not in the office, Lauren will most likely be at North Park walking the lake or kayaking.
