Call me a snob since I honestly never thought I could be raving about my experience in a resale shop, but if I could raise the bar to 10 stars rather than five, I would do it in a heartbeat. I can, and have, spent hours in the shop finding both clothing as well as home decor items. I have bought everything from Ferragamo and Prada shoes to Coach and Tory Burch purses to Michael Kors and Moschino clothing..and all in excellent condition and the slightest percentage of the original price. Their inventory changes almost daily and thus each visit is like a new treasure. One never knows what to expect and the only given is that everything is both unique and one of a kind. A visit there can change the nastiest, most depressed, and/and or bored mood. And it’s not only the treasures you’ll find, but the exchange you’ll have with the staff that will turn you into a Kindred Spirit junkie. It’s like being with your best shopping buddies and having a purse full of birthday gift cards.

I'm so happy that I ignored the negative reviews below and visited the store. I was in the area for business and only had time to shop in one store, happy I picked Kindred Spirits. My review will be about Kindred Spirits and not about bashing other stores. I thought the merchandise was relevant and competively priced. I saw a selection and price range for all types of women. There was one woman working when I was there who was attentive but not over the top. The owner came in as I was leaving and she was nothing but welcoming and appreciated my $25.00 purchase! I will shop here again, you can't always believe reviews.

These woman are the definition of rude and stuck up. I witnessed a very loud and obnoxious sales woman unnecessarily critique items brought in by another woman. That is the second time this has happened. Get rid of your talbots clothing and get a clue!!!!

Diverse. Appealed to all. New store's owner and help buy inventory for only a few type of women. They are missing so many different and real women who would love to benefit from what we all love to do - SHOP!!! Oh! Store's a little to cluttered.

I recently stopped in to put a Burberry handbag as well as 2 Michael Kors bags on consignment. My appointment was at 10 and I was a little early but after they opened the doors I asked if I could browse around while I waited for my appointment time. They seemed completely reluctant (and frankly put off by my request) to let me walk around and apparently would have preferred that I sat outside in the cold! While looking around (which was hard to do b/c the store is so small and cramped) I found that items were way overpriced. I wouldn't pay some of the prices asked if the item was brand new! They looked at my bags, asked me if they were real to which I said yes and decided to take them. Less than a week later they had the audacity to call me and suggest that my Burberry handbag wasn't authentic b/c a customer questioned something about the zipper. They asked me to bring in the receipt to prove it was real! I explained that I bought the bag back in 2004 at a Burberry store in North Carolina and not longer had the receipt so I had to drive back to the store and take back the handbag because they decided they no longer wanted to sell it. First of all if they wanted proof they should have told me that upfront and never should have taken the bags to begin with. Second of all they advertise themselves as selling higher, brand name items. They should be able to distinguish between a fake and real designer bag. I decided to take back all 3 of my bags and not use their services. In conclusion the associates are rude, the store is jam packed and the items are overpriced. I would NOT recommend this place.
