I have had a water leak because our water meter is on the neighbor's property by his driveway and mailbox. Why the box was put there in the first place I don't know. It makes no earthly sense.But because someone visiting him or bringing him mail, we had a water leak. Of course we had no knowledge of this, because, as previously mentioned, THE METER IS NOT ON OUR LAND! We complained but still had to pay most of the amount charged. Now we have been informed by phone that we still owe them more money, even though the amount they told my husband to pay was paid yesterday. I do not like being held responsible for something that should have been ON OUR LAND IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
