This massive bi-weekly Food Pantry began as a tiny little pantry that I built for the community and stuck out in front of our house for all to use. I thought that maybe it would be an easier way for people to grab a couple of items without having to ask for help. My little pantry slowly started to get a few donations here and there and within 2 weeks I was already having to store excess food donations in bins in the garage. With so many donations coming in I decided to turn that little pantry out front into a bi-weekly Food Pantry that I would hold in my garage. Long story short, my brother posted a video about the pantry online and it ended up going viral and catching the attention of NJ.Com. They did a story on me and my pantry which was seen by all the local stations resulting in several interviews and even a bit of live TV. I am totally prepared to take â??The Little Pantryâ?? as far as I can and help out as many people as possible. Try to wake up every day and make it a point to help out a stranger no Matter how big or small it may be.
