Marlana S. Ottinger, M.D., earned her medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Following an internship at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA, she completed a residency program in radiation oncology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.Dr. Ottinger served as a clinical assistant professor of radiation oncology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and as clinical Director of Penn Radiation Oncology at the Chester County Hospital in Chester County, PA.Dr. Ottinger is board certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and the Maryland State Medical Society. She is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including selection by the Consumers Research Council to appear in The Guide to America's Top Physicians. In addition, she was selected as a Top Doc for the western suburbs/Main Line region of Philadelphia. Dr. Ottinger also served as a local principal investigator with an early, international lung cancer screening study, which helped to lay the groundwork for current lung cancer CT screening.Dr. Ottinger treats patients with various malignancies, but has a particular interest in breast, prostate, CNS and lung cancers, image-guided radiation therapy and integrative health care.
