I've been going to Sherman tank since I was a young man in my 20's. Marc is very knowledgeable and their prices are always great! They always have a great selection of livestock. Even though it's called About Fish, Inc., I still refer them as the Sherman Tank. Give them a try if you're wanting to set up an aquarium. Marc knows his stuff, so please don't be afraid to ask. If he does seam a bit grouchy, you have to realize hes been in the business for years and people can be a bit trying on your nerves, not to mention, some people aren't very honest and have passed a few bad checks, which Marc has eaten. As long as I have an aquarium, About Fish is my place. I hope Marc and his family are around for many years to come. Thank you Marc for all of your help over the years!!

Sometimes they have great plants at great prices. The variety is inconsistent. Fish selection is decent.

Out of the two boulder shops and most of the ones around north denver, this one is by far the best selection of fish with good prices. It is kind of cramped and packed at times but for the fish, prices, and expertise they give, it is well worth the slight discomfort.

I love this place! I drive to this store from Windsor because the store has the best prices in n.colorado and a good selection of really healthy vibrant fish that will thrive when you get them home. They raise alot of the fish they sell. Their Angels are Amazing! And very affordable. Their selection of other non fish stuff like tanks and supplies is kinda small as most of the store space is fish. I got some really nice amazon sword plants for $2.99 each! So check out the plants too. As far as customer service, I will admit they need more help. The place is always packed. It seems the owner and 2 other guys are there all the time and it doesn't seem to be enough. But hey, for the prices you get, I'll wait another minute or two. Plus when they do help you, they make sure you are taking care of and satisified and happy. I've turned a few friends on to this store and they like it too. I do not why the first reviewer is liking it too. Kinda makes you wonder if......

Not sure why the only other review was so negative. I've been a patron of this shop going back to when it was known as Sherman Tank company. The owner is highly knowledgeable and tends to have the best prices on his sale item fish. Sure the store has scaled back a lot over the last few years as it has had to relocate three times. Mark Sherman deserves a lot of credit for even staying in business after moving an Aquarium shop so often.

Don't waist your time!!! Bad selection and even worse customer service. One of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. Not only was the staff rude but even tryed to give them a second chane and once again rude. The owner it the worst of them all not only just bad customer service but just a grouchy old man. Who is rude and verbally aggressive. I will never be there again for my personal or client tanks and would recommend not even considering giving them your business.
