I entered this facility in mid August after having been hospitalized and not progressing far enough in rehab to be safe at home alone. Although I did not want to have to be there, it is exactly where I needed to be to recover. The staff is made up of very caring individuals who go above and beyond to support the residents in being as independent as possible while providing the care needed to keep them safe and healthy. They know all the residents by name and genuinely care about their well-being. The facility provides a well-rounded calendar of activities on site and in the community. They provide transportation to and from doctor appointments and shopping. Activities also include addressing the spiritual needs of residents in the form of Bible studies, transportation to church services, music and devotionals. I can't say enough about how responsive and caring the staff are. Everyone works together for the good of the residents, no matter what their job title is. If caregiver staff is shorthanded, others pitch in to help out. It is common to see the nursing staff and administrative staff helping out in the dining room or transporting residents to dinner or activities. Because of the help I received here, I plan to be able to return to my own home soon, something that the rehab facility was unable to achieve. I would highly recommend this facility.

They are SO understaffed and are NOT about to remedy that, any time soon! So, the poor residents receive sub-standard care, because the poor caregivers and nurses are doing the work of 2-3 workers! This administrator has a lot of family members in "key positions" who are still there, so complaints about anything go nowhere and this includes complaining to the Corporate Office. Again, those complaints go NOWHERE!!! The so-called awards they have won are not from the State of Ohio or the United States. They are SELF-Awarded from within the company (Spectrum Retirement), so of course, they can toot their own horns that way! Very sad place and I feel so badly for the residents, their families and the staff that are there. The residents/families obviously have NO idea what REALLY goes on there!!! Just sad.
