I was referred by my dentist due to gum/tooth pain with no obvious cause seen on x-ray. Dr. Houck got me in quickly, gave me a thorough exam (and a follow-up exam a week later), determined that my issue didn't require a root canal, and referred me to an oral surgeon nearby who was able to see me for an evaluation immediately. It's great to have someone honest and competent enough to *not* do what makes them the most money. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure that the surgeon to whom I was referred was on my insurance plan.
