Established in 2001, the Westerville Community Center provides access to year-round recreational and leisure opportunities. Its facility is spread over an area of more than 96,600 square feet. The center maintains a pool with water slides and a walking and running track. The Westerville Community Center also has a gymnasium, fitness and locker rooms and an indoor climbing wall. Additionally, it features several program and game rooms, public meeting areas, game room and playground. The center maintains and the Kids Wait Room child care area.

This is a very nice place to go with the family especially with the kiddos. The indoor pool is amazing. It bothers me that the slides are always closed down when I go as well as the diving boards. I use to be a diver and I look forward to diving but I can’t ever use them because they are never open. There’s a section there I didn’t know was there because it’s always closed. Why is it there then? The front desk can be really rude but I’ve met one or 2 that are really nice. The locker rooms are nice and I suggest using the lockers if you have anything of value on you because my wallet was stolen from there and stupid me got $450 taken from my wallet. I meant to go to the bank before but my son was so excited and I didn’t expect to get robbed. So lock it up that’s what the lockers are for. Showers are nice. I miss the old Westerville athletic club better honestly. The only thing I like better at the newest facility is that it’s updated, it doesn’t have the hot tub or steam room like it did at the ok location. It doesn’t have the cute little café that the old place had where they sold sandwiches and yogurt and things like that. There are vending machines with chips and candy bars. Big downgrade. The new facility is extremely nice other than that. I have never been upstairs but it looks cool and has a huge basketball area where someone is always playing. It’s fun to watch. Over all it’s a very nice place. I still miss the old one but the pool at the new one blows the old one out of the water and it’s updated of course. Great place to go and very clean.
