Outstanding experience here. This man is also a Sgt. with Westerville P.D. He is a wonderful surgeon and a great contributor to our Westerville community. His staff is wonderful. So helpful--even with complicated insurance filings. I could not have been happier. Thank you Doc!

I was referred here in pain, s...

I was referred here in pain, so I let them do the work. I went in thought I had insurance, but did not, so they gave me a cash price for the work. I paid all was good 9-17-2013. Come 1-14-2014, I see my dental insurance was billed from Krause for the surgery, I did have insurance but there was just a problem. So after they settle for cash price found out I had insurance and charged the double to the insurance company. WHY wait til 1-14-2014 to make the claim, I called in on 1-9-2014 to get a copy of reciept so I could get reimbursed since my insurance was good. They told no one available until 1-20-2014. on 1-14-2014 they submitted their own claim before I could get my own refund. They never called me, or let me know what was going on, I had to call them. THE WORST customer service ever.

What if I had never went back there?

What if I had moved since four months?

Would they have sent me a refund without a phone call?

Why did no one follow up to say they would submit the claim and in fact sent it underhandedly?

Do not take your chances tell your dentist.

SAY NO TO KRAUSE!!

Outstanding service

Dr. Krause and staff,

This is an overdue letter I have been meaning to send for a long time.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted at your practice this past spring.

And I cannot be more glad that I chose to go with Dr. Krause for that procedure.

This man is not only an excellent surgeon and a Reserve Sergeant with Westerville Police Department, but he is also a man who faces challenges with dignity and respect.

And I have a story to prove mentioned above.

On the day of the surgery my giving-me-a-ride-home person was extremely late and the staff and Dr. Krause himself worked with me on that and waited additional 40 min to an hour for him to arrive.

I remember getting an IV and the next thing I remember I was woken up by the Dr. Krause' assistant after the surgery.

It went the way he said it would. And I had no complications post surgery.

But now I am going to get to the point I am trying to make here.

Upon arriving home and getting all the cotton out of my mouth to start with my rinsing routine, I would have to be doing for the next week or so, I realized that one of my molars was chipped during the surgery. It was a molar right next to my bottom wisdom tooth that had been extracted.

Honestly, saying that I was upset is to say nothing. I had spent all the money to cover my dental work for a year at that point, and now I was facing paying 100% out of pocket to fix that tooth. We could not afford it as we had to borrow money to pay for my wisdom teeth extraction and that would mean getting even in more debt.

My first thought was, I need to contact Dr. Krause and tell him what happened. So, I did. I went to see him for a follow up visit and when I mentioned the chipped tooth, he said it must have been week and that is why it chipped. Though I do realize things like that happen, I was simply upset that I had no way of taking care of it myself.

I went to see my regular dentist to get an idea of what it would be costing me to fix my tooth.

To get to the bottom line and circle back to the point I as making about the qualities Dr. Krause posses, this is what happened next.

I was told by a lot of my friends and family members when presented with this story, that it is going to be my responsibility to pay for the damaged tooth (including my dentist, who expressed doubts that Dr. Krause would be willing to take financial responsibility for the accident). I still thought that Dr. Krause would do the right thing. And he DID!

I came to see him shortly after visiting my dentist and told him that I simply did not have the finances at that point to pay for the dental work. I do realize that it was a mistake and nobody is safe from making one in any line of business. But the bottom line was, I just wanted my tooth back to normal.

He listened to me carefully and asked me one question: "What would make you happy?"

And that is how my tooth was fixed and faithful client of Dr. Krause was born!!

He took care of the payment as he said he would at our last meeting and my family dentist, I believe, learnt a new respect for Dr. Krause as well.

Absolutely awesome and painles...

Absolutely awesome and painless experience. Staff was incredible and it cost me $20 copay for wisdom teeth with general anesthesia. Office was so helpful and handled all the insurance. I just showed up. Terrific.

Excellent & No Pain!

I could not believe how I could have teeth removed that were old, broken and hard and have no pain. I was asleep and awoke to feeling better than I had felt in 6 months. I left his office w/prescription for pain meds that I never filled. I went to work the next day with Tylenol, but only took two in the morning, not because I had pain, I just didn't want to have any issue that morning at work. Turns out I didn't need it! He was so nice and funny and his staff were so caring and thoughtful. They did all my insurance stuff and I liked all of them. He was worth the wait!
