This is just the kind of salon I was looking for. It's not a "stuffy" salon . The people who work there are very nice and accommodating. I got one of the best haircuts of my life by Albert who is new to the salon. He comes with a ton of experience and takes his time with you. The outcome is a haircut right out of the style books! I am very fussy about my hair and it says alot for me to be recommending a salon.



You will not be disappointed. Ask for Albert and you'll love your hair.

I went in once to have my eye brows waxed. It was gonna cost $15 so i walked out. About a week later i walked in to have my bangs cut. I walked in with my hair done ready for work. I told her that i just wanted a little off because i liked the length so cut my bangs like a half inch when i only wanted them shaped up. When she blew dried them her blow dryer made my mascarra melt and stick. It was WAY TO HOT! Then I tried to fix my bangs with the straightener i figured ok they'll be longer when i straighten them...i burnt my hands on her straightener too. Now some pieces are to short and i am just not happy at all. To cut my bangs it was only $5 bucks. Everything else is over priced. I will never go back in there for anything. Tabitha's salon take over show really needs to go in there. How can you mess up when i walk in how i want them and i tell you what to do. She was too interested in chatting with me then she was focused on what I wanted. Nice lady I wont be going back.

My experience at Strand's was extremely positive. The owner Michelle is extremely up beat and exudes positive energy. I recently moved from IL to FL and have gone thru many hairdressers since my arrival last November. After numerous bad hair cuts, I have found the perfect beautician. Gave me the perfect cut, did exactly what I asked. Not only was it the best hairstyle I have had in years, the cut held up for more than the usual 6 weeks. I wear my hair extremely short and it ususally require an every six week touch up. I am going on 8 weeks now and it still looks fabulous. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.
