Waste of my time. I Called them on a Thursday to ask if they did custom exhaust work, they said yes. I told them I wanted to come in on Saturday and asked their hours. They asked what I wanted done and I explained it to them. They said "Sure, no problem, we can get whatever parts you need from our supplier right down the street, come on in."

2 Days later, it's Saturday. They open at 8am and I pull in at 7:55. I tell the guy behind the counter what I am there for and he basically told me "We can't do that today because we don't have the part, you will have to come back during the week" I explained that I was told on the phone that we could get the needed parts from the supplier down the street, and that this is the only day that I am able to do it. So then I asked him what If I found the part and came back with it. He tells me "well I can have guys working on your car because we will lose money on that job......WHAT!? At this point I feel like I'm in an episode of the Twilight zone. I wasn't looking for free work, so why would he lose money to do to my car what they told me on the phone was not a problem?!?

I asked why was told that it would be no issue on the phone and he really didn't have an answer, he just said he was sorry.

It was a bizarre experience and I still don't really know what is going on with this place. If they had just told me the real deal on the phone, I would have tried to schedule somewhere else to do the work. But I got up early, drove all the way down there just to be dismissed as if they didn't want my business. I am in sales for a living and relate to basically all types of personalities, but this guy still has me scratching my head over what transpired. I don't get it.....

Apparently despite saying it saying it on their sign and being told verbally on the phone that the are a custom exhaust shop, they don't really want to do that type of work?

I've recently moved for New England to Florida. I took my car to a mechanic who told me I needed $860.00 worth of work after spending $600.00 3 weeks prior. I then took my car to Advanced Muffler on the referral of yet a 3rd mechanic who did not do the type of work I supposedly needed done. Guess what? Nothing wrong with my car, needed idiot light re set! ( YA I know I set myself up for that one ) But really! They could have so done the work and I would never had been the wiser. Thank god their are still Honest People out there. They'll have me as a loyal, boasting, referring client for life! Sincerely, Jim Norman
