Provided by YP.comMy husband and I absolutely loved this Bed and Breakfast! The views of Lake Michigan are beautiful! We found the host and hostess very accommodating. I had read a review that criticized the continental breakfast, which was advertised as such?! On Saturday the offering was a typical continental breakfast of homemade banana muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, a limited assortment of cereals/oatmeal, two juice choices and milk. Sunday breakfast included a yummy breakfast bake. Tea and coffee is offered throughout the day. I think this allows the guests to explore the area, whether on bike or walking on the path which is located across the street from the home, or travel by car to visit the parks in the area or to visit the quaint downtown, and eat at one of the many restaurants available. We chose to eat at the Paisley Pig and at Portobello (good to excellent food, with excellent service, unfortunately no view of the lake at either establishment). An added bonus of Lakeshore B&B is the decor! The host is an avid history buff of USA presidents, which is evident throughout the common area and the suites (pictures, books, documents). If you are single or a couple who want a weekend getaway, like American history, enjoy "period" decor, and like to explore different areas of our great country, you will not be disappointed with Lakeshore Bed & Breakfast!

Provided by YP.comExtremely high priced for what you get. for the price, a gourmet breakfast is expected.. and what you receive is a: “help yourself to cereal and muffins and yogurt in the fridge”!
Their website is much to be desired,.. they describe all their rooms have waterfront views which is misleading... all do not. they also make it difficult to find info on their website about thier “continental breakfast”, and their NO CANCELATIONS policy. they also will not make reservations over the phone and require you to book on line with a credit card, then when you arrive,.. they will not accept credit cards and expect you to pay up front with cash or check. very odd.
we stayed in the executive suite, which they do not show pictures of on their website ( again much to be desired) and we were disappointed when we arrived and discovered it was separate from the rest of the house( had to go outside to get to it) and was in the basement. Sure it was very nice (Jacuzzi suite) but was completely modern and not at all like a bed a breakfast which is why we booked and paid top dollar to stay there in the first place.
This place does have a million dollar view and is the only B&B in Grand Haven right on Lake Michigan with their own beach.
Just plan on paying top dollar,.. and plan on going out for breakfast
