Undelivered/lost items (took 2+ months and 15+ calls to recover, no attempt from company to make amends), smashed furniture and kitchenware (claim for reimbursement ignored for 3 months, still working on it), 20+ unreturned phone calls and emails. Incredible irresponsible and unprofessional. Do not use.

Used this company in December. They stole a diamond ring. I noticed the next day. Filed police report. Filed a claim with the company. Waited past their 120 day period. Had not one attempt to contact me. Probably because they are not going to do a damn thing about it!!! Now we have to take them to court. The overall service was the worst.

I would agree with all th ebad review. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER. I am truely amamzed that this company has not been jailed for fraud and stupidity. They caused me thousand of dollars of damage (they packed the stuff too!) from Pittsburgh to Arizona. They are rude, unproefessional and unresponsive. They refuse to acknowledge their fault and slapped me with an inaccurate bill. The owner, DAVE should be ashamed of himself. Please USE DIFFERENT MOVERS

I am amazed this company can stay in business. They caused thousands of dollars in damage during my out of state move. I purchased the supplemental insurance and submitted a 70 page claim form. My damages exceeded $6000 and I received a check for a little more than $500. Do Not use this company if you value your furnishings! They were careless, they lost/ stole items, and then when they should have settled my claim, they declined responsibility. They have a D rating on the BBB for a reason!!!! Do yourself a favor and please choose another mover. I wouldn't rate this company with even one star!!!!!

On Saturday, October 29, 2011 we moved from Allegheny County to Washington County. Despite a snow fall of about 2-3 inches that day the movers did an excellent job. They were professional, courteous and effecient. We will recommend Don Farr to our friends and relatives.

A well deserved good review

I really thought it was important to take the time to let everyone know the experience i had with this company. After receiving several estimates and even told by other company's snaky ethics to go look for reviews for this company I decided to take a shot with them!!!



I must say it was well worth it. I moved from PA-TX and the guys showed up prompt and ready on the pick up day. After watching the guys hustle for serveral hours, and pad wrap every item, they packed the truck tight! TETRIS I said !!! . why??? Cause its amazing how those guys tightly secure every item.



Unload day, Ft. Worth Texas, I had two of the best movers ever show up. I asked them if they were having anyone else come to help but they insisted that it was better for them two to handle the items then bring in extra guys. And you know what they were the right. The guys worked effiiciently and took the time to go over every item with me and put it where I wanted it! Fantastic job!



Well in summary DON FARR WAS AWESOME!!! and I really think that is important to take the time to let people know about a good job when far too ofter people just want to list the bad.

I needed a move last minute about a month ago and this company just jumped on it! After calling several companies and getting a voicemail or a "someone will call you". I talked to the folks at Don Farr. They quickly got me set up for a quote, set me up with the date I needed to move and showed up to move me on time. Their men worked fast and padded everything at no charge. Before I knew it i was on my couch at my new place all set up.

Very unhelpful operator answering the phone during first call. I had to ask who I was speaking to and what company I was calling just to make sure I had the right number. Based on the reception I received during this call, I decided against working with this company. I figure if they can't hire someone professional to provide a good first impression, I can't trust them with my property.

They are the worst business I ever had to deal with. The things that were smashed (which were alot) were not replaced. I filed te claim within their time period and to this date (over a year later) I still have not settled it. I am turning them over to the better business Bureau.



DON'T USE THEM!!!!!!!

If you value your household items use a different company. We've used many movers through the years and have never experienced this kind or amount of damage before. It's shocking.
