The therapists at ACC are extremely professional and by no means do they encourage patients to attack each other. Members of group therapy are encouraged to own the group and resolve conflicts. Conflict is inevitable and at times members say things in a way that may not be effective. But this is always out of love and never a personal attack. This is a teaching tool to help prepare for life outside of therapy. It is unfortunate that people who do not want to be helped blame others for their own personal issues. And storm out without providing an opportunity to clear misspoken words or heal after very emotional episodes. I highly recommend Austin Counseling Connection to anyone who is seriously trying to help heal themselves and can handle sharing the most painful parts of their lives.

They have an inadequate staff that lacks proper training. They allow patients to attack one another. Poor time management.
