Mike's work has always been over the top good for us. Reasonable rates and attention to detail. We have employed him at our Wellsboro business and at home. Actually, we were one of his first "customers" several years ago.

At home he saved our yard from flooding by digging a ditch on the perimeter of our acre. He cut up and removed a fallen lightening-struck tree in the front yard, cleaned up the debris so not a trace was left behind.

Today he came to the shop/studio to repair a bank of lights that no longer worked. Turns out it needed a new ballast and took some tricky wiring to install as the old ballast was magnetic and these days ballasts are electronic. The lights were working when he finished the job.

Two days later they quit again. Mike came back and spent two or more extra hours checking the complicated wiring and it still didn't work. Turns out the ballast was defective. Got a free replacement ballast and Voila!, problem solved.

The only thing he charged us was the original hour spent putting in the first ballast. Not one cent more. Even after offering to pay more, he refused.

To me, that is a man of integrity and we will continue to call him for future jobs.

Take my advise and call someone else. They managed to screw everything up. Floor tiles majorly misaligned, ceiling falling down, the crew just leaves on Friday without finishing installing toilet. The smell was horrible. Deck boards cut uneven some overhang some flush with post and some shorter. Bad quality stay away. But the real reason I am posting this review is the fact he has money (for 3 months) for project that was never done and won't return my calls. Will be contacting BBB and attorney general. Done with it all.

We made an appointment for Mike to come out and give an estimate. An hour and a half after he was scheduled to show up, but didn't, we called the office. I informed his scheduler that my husband had taken off work to meet with Mike (he lost income to do this). She laughed and said that he was running late, but assured us that he would definitely be there that day and that my husband's day off of work would not be wasted. He never showed up. I understand being busy. I don't understand being stood up like that. Not only was there not a call letting us know he would be late or unable to make it, we were assured that he would be there. No excuses, no apologies. Unreliable and disrespectful of our time. At this point, we feel we are better off not doing business with him.
