I regret not reading these reviews prior to going. I am still in complete shock at how my daughter was treated. I have a four year old little girl who goes to the doctor for shots without flinching. I feel as if I failed her as she was abused by the people in this office. There was no bedside manner, she was treated awful. She was held down and threatened when she struggled with this. They may know about dentistry, however I'm not even sure of that. I do know they don't know about children. The toys, video games, televisions do not cover up for their abusive treatment. I called a few days later to request the records as I've found a much better dentist and was told I need to pay for the records first and once I pay I can pick them up in 5 days. Please do not take your child here. I truly believe they don't even realize that how they're treating the children is wrong, which is the scariest part.

I wish I could give negative stars! My Disgust and Distaste for this Dentist Office has been ignited by a post from friend indicating that they took their daughter there today. I told her to run as fast as she could from this place. Even after the almost 5 years since going there I remember like it was yesterday when my 6 years old calm, cool no issues daughter was strapped to a chair and sedated before I even left the front desk from processing her, WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSET!!. I never understood why parents were not welcomed behind that cute door, but I had to learn the hard way. My daughter still remembers and asks why her wrists were tied to the chair. When confronted about it, this crazy lady dentist responded with confusion as to why I was so livid, as if strapping someone's child to a chair and sedating her without telling the parent was typical protocol. Uh...No!! Stay Away for your child's safety

Heard the worst screams from my 6 yr old daughter I've ever heard in my life! So I guess dr yangs blanket nitrous oxide policy didn't work on my daughter again. This was the second time I took her there for what seemed to me like torture. Just 2 filings. She screamed. She gasped for air several times. She choked, what on earth are you doing!!! Then after my daughters horrifying experience dr yang had the nerve to pull me to the side and tell me she can't control the adults she can only control the kids!! You're kidding me right. Was an eye opener for her to tell me I shouldn't act the way I was feeling, I went into the empty waiting area and screamed because of what I heard coming from inside the procedure room door. When I pushed open the door silently what I saw nearly broke my heart. My daughter struggling in a straight jacket, gasping for air and not just once. She couldn't freakin breathe but the procedure must continue. Worst dentist we've ever been to!!!

We were seeing a family dentist, then my youngest got a cavity, the family dentist told us we should take her to a pediatric dentist. I was surprised; I thought she was pediatric plus adult dentist. Then, after I visited the pediatric dentist I was overwhelmed with how under-treated my 5 yr. old was and now we were facing a root canal for my youngest. I was upset with myself and doubtful about what this pediatric dentist was telling me, so I researched.I share this with you to save you from the anxiety I went through. I went to Dr. Yang before I read these reviews and then I was worried about going back even though we had a really great experience despite what was needed. So, I researched other dentists, procedures and root canals for young children and found she is one of the best in her field and was wonderful and patient with my little girl. And, yes she will find and treat cavities that others overlook, saving your child from ugly complications. I will go back, she is a good dentist.

Very nice office and hygienist...

Very nice office and hygienist was very nice to my 4 year daughter in her first visit.

I personally felt the doctor to be very firm and compassionate. For the past 2 years, I have not being able to explain to my daughter why she needed to brush her teeth every day (yes, I know, I am the parent) but the dr was able to show her the importance of nice teeth.

Bottom line: this office will be great for parents looking for a more straight-talking dr and children who have been spoiled a little bit with their parents (I am one of them!).

I recommend Toothtown. If you are looking for a specialist that's the place to go. We had a great experience with our kids cleaning and treatment. Very nice environment, polite and professional staff and doctor.
